Avatar Made Its Controversial Yet Silent Exit From Disney+

James Cameron, the director of Avatar, has already been removed from Disney+, only one month before the film's re-release.

Disney is promoting Avatar's re-release in order to raise awareness of Avatar:

The Way of Water is the long-awaited sequel that will finally hit theatres this December.

Up until this point, Disney+ users could follow Cameron's surreal journey whenever they pleased from the comfort of their sofas.

Avatar is the first film to surpass the $2.8 billion milestone at the international box office in 2009.

And surpassing the $2.2 billion mark set by the Titanic to become the biggest release ever.

The world's most popular movie is still Avatar.

Since then, it has dropped a few positions on the domestic list, trailing Star Wars: The Force Awakens, Avengers: Endgame, and Spider-Man: No Way Home.

The decision to remove Avatar from Disney+ seems dubious, especially given the company provided no advance notice to users.
