We are approaching a peak season for smartphone launches, with Samsung gearing up for its major Paris event and OnePlus preparing for its Summer Launch Event next week. OnePlus is set to reveal not only a new tablet and mobile accessories but also its latest addition to the budget-friendly Nord lineup, the Nord 4. After recent leaks of promotional material, today brings the most substantial Nord 4 leak yet.
While details about the rest of OnePlus’ upcoming lineup have been fairly clear, the Nord 4 has remained somewhat ambiguous until now. Recent rumors have begun to shed light on its features, and today’s leak aims to provide further clarity.
According to reports from Android Headlines and OnLeaks, the OnePlus Nord 4 is expected to debut with a Snapdragon 7 Plus Gen 3 processor and a 6.74-inch 120Hz OLED display. The device is likely to feature a metal body construction, a departure from recent Nord designs, potentially enhancing its premium feel. OnePlus’ signature physical alert slider is also expected to make a return.
In terms of optics, the Nord 4 is rumored to sport a 50MP main camera, an 8MP ultrawide lens, and a 16MP front-facing camera. It is anticipated to house a robust 5,500mAh battery with support for 100W fast charging, promising quick and efficient power replenishment.
The leaked renders reveal both black and mint color variants, previously glimpsed in earlier leaks. Notably absent from this round of images is the white/silver Nord 4, which features a distinctive striped rear panel seen in recent group shots. Fans awaiting more details on this variant may have to wait until closer to the launch date.
As excitement builds for the Nord 4’s official reveal, OnePlus enthusiasts are cautiously optimistic about the device’s potential availability in the US market. Historically, Nord phones have had limited releases in North America, but hopes remain high for a pleasant surprise from OnePlus.
