Polar has launched the Vantage M3 smartwatch, a new addition to its sporty lineup that blends stylish design with the robustness required for fitness activities. This release comes on the heels of the Vantage V3 and introduces several upgraded features that cater to the needs of active users.
One of the most notable enhancements is the 1.28-inch AMOLED display, which replaces the previous MIP screen, providing a vibrant visual experience and improved clarity in outdoor settings. The smartwatch also includes an always-on display (AOD) mode, enabling users to check their workout stats effortlessly.
Durability is a key focus for the Vantage M3, with its display protected by Gorilla Glass, ensuring resistance against scratches and nicks during intense workouts.
The smartwatch is equipped with advanced health monitoring capabilities, featuring a 4th-generation optical heart rate (OHR) sensor that tracks heart rate, blood oxygen saturation (SpO2), and skin temperature. Polar has also integrated its next-gen Elixir biosensor technology from the Grit X2 Pro, allowing users to benefit from cutting-edge health insights directly on their wrists.
Another significant feature of the M3 is its on-wrist ECG functionality, which allows users to obtain heart analytics by simply placing a finger on the device’s button for 30 seconds. With support for over 150 sports profiles, the M3 is designed to accommodate a variety of athletic activities, making it an ideal companion for fitness enthusiasts.
Additionally, its sleep tracking capabilities, including SleepWise, Sleep Plus Stages, and Nightly Recharge, provide users with valuable insights into their sleep quality and recovery.
Navigation features are enhanced in the Vantage M3, which includes dual-frequency GPS for precise location tracking. The smartwatch offers a full-color map experience, allowing users to visualize their surroundings accurately, including streets and landmarks. For outdoor adventurers, the integration with Komoot provides turn-by-turn guidance, making exploration easier and more intuitive.
The Polar Vantage M3 comes equipped with 32GB of storage and a 310mAh battery, boasting up to seven days of battery life in smartwatch mode and 30 hours in training mode. Available in two color options, Greige Sand and Night Black, the M3 is priced at $399 and is now on the market as of October 23. With its robust features and focus on health and fitness, the Vantage M3 is poised to be a reliable companion for those seeking to enhance their active lifestyles.
