Samsung has officially announced the Galaxy S24 FE, following a brief premature reveal on its website. The phone is priced at $649.99 for the 128GB version, with a 256GB option available for $709.99. The design closely resembles last year’s model, but the S24 FE comes equipped with enhanced AI software features, such as generative photo editing and instant slow-motion video capture, improving the user experience.

The Galaxy S24 FE features a 6.7-inch OLED display with slimmer bezels, delivering a refined look. Powering the device is Samsung’s Exynos 2400e processor, which some consider a step down from the Snapdragon chip found in the US versions of the Galaxy S24 series. However, Samsung highlights an improved vapor chamber to enhance gaming performance. This ensures better heat management, particularly during intense use.

In terms of durability, the S24 FE boasts IP68 dust and water resistance, making it more resilient. It promises seven years of OS and security updates, ensuring long-term software support. The phone is powered by a 4,700mAh battery and features a 50MP main camera, an 8MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom, a 12MP ultra-wide lens, and a 10MP selfie camera.

Samsung’s ProVisual Engine, an AI-powered camera tool, makes its debut in the FE series, promising enhanced photo quality.

Samsung is also releasing the LTE version of the Galaxy Watch FE, available for preorder at $249.99, with official availability starting October 3rd. In addition to the phone and watch, Samsung is launching two new tablets: the Galaxy Tab S10 Plus for $999.99 and the Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra for $1,199.99.

These tablets feature large displays, anti-reflective coatings, and quad speakers, powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 9300 Plus processor. Both tablets also include an S Pen for added functionality.

The new Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra offers significant performance improvements over the previous Tab S9 Ultra, with increases in CPU, GPU, and NPU performance, boosting capabilities for AI-driven features such as Note Assist and Draw Assist. Additionally, the new Galaxy AI key on the keyboards enables easier access to Samsung’s AI tools, further enhancing productivity and user experience.
