Playstation Portal Device

PlayStation has recently revealed its new remote-play device, the PlayStation Portal, with the following details. The Portal will be priced at $199.99. To use the Portal, you must own a PS5, as it is designed for remote play only.

The device features adaptive triggers and haptic feedback similar to the PlayStation DualSense controllers. It also boasts an 8-inch display capable of 1080p resolution at 60 frames per second.

The Portal connects to your PS5 via WiFi, allowing you to power it on, press a button to connect to your PS5 console, and start playing. Additionally, this means someone else can use the TV connected to your PS5 while you use the Portal.

PlayStation has not specified the exact release date for the Portal, only that it will be available later this year. Early feedback suggests it is a promising device, but only time will confirm its reception.
