OnePlus has officially kicked off pre-orders for the OnePlus 13 in China, revealing an updated back panel design through a teaser. As excitement builds for the upcoming launch, the device has already been spotted in public settings. Users on Weibo shared images from the recent Peacekeeper Elite 2024 event, showcasing the unreleased smartphone in action, which provides a closer look at its design.
The images captured at the event reveal the OnePlus 13 in three distinct color options: a classic black variant, a dual-tone model featuring a blue back panel and a white camera island, and a sleek white version with a silver frame.
All three models prominently display the Hasselblad logo adjacent to the camera setup, alongside flat sides and a silver band that visually links the camera island to the back panel. These design features align with OnePlus’s official teaser, affirming their legitimacy.
In terms of specifications, the OnePlus 13 is anticipated to be equipped with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chip, which promises enhanced performance.
Additional features expected include 50W wireless charging support and an innovative display that supports local high refresh rates, improving overall usability. Reports also suggest that the device may house a substantial 6,000mAh battery along with an ultrasonic fingerprint reader for advanced security.
Although the OnePlus 13 is set to launch in China later this month, consumers in the United States will have to wait until early 2025 for its arrival. This phased rollout indicates OnePlus’s strategy to generate buzz and anticipation among tech enthusiasts and potential buyers across different markets.
