Nintendo has announced the release of Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp Complete, which will be available for download on December 3 via the App Store and Google Play. The game is being offered at an introductory price of $9.99 until January 31, 2025, after which the price will increase to $19.99.

This new title comes as a response to the upcoming shutdown of the original free-to-play Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp, which is set to end on November 29. The Complete version will be a one-time purchase game, offering players a chance to enjoy the content without any further in-game purchases.

The Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp Complete is designed as an offline experience, retaining the gameplay elements of the original while packaging seven years’ worth of content, including items and events.

Players will take on the role of a campsite manager, tasked with building a vibrant campsite filled with various features. The gameplay allows users to engage in activities such as fishing, bug catching, and interacting with quirky animal characters, all while crafting their ideal camping experience.

Key features of the Complete version include an extensive collection of over 10,000 items for campsite decoration. Players can personalize their campsite with diverse objects, from tents and swings to more whimsical additions like merry-go-rounds and lazy rivers.

Additionally, the game will feature numerous seasonal events, providing opportunities to collect unique items during festivities like Halloween, Toy Day, and the Summer Festival. For those who previously played Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp, there is a transfer option available to continue their progress.

New gameplay mechanics have also been introduced in Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp Complete. Players can create their own Camper Cards, which serve as personal introductions to others in the game.

Furthermore, a new location called the Whistle Pass allows players to gather and interact with friends whose Camper Cards they have registered. The game also introduces Complete Tickets, which can be earned through event participation and redeemed for limited edition items and other rewards.

While the game does not require a constant online connection, temporary data communication may be needed for specific functions, such as account verification and data downloads.

Players are advised to link their Nintendo Accounts to transfer saved data from the original game, which will be accessible until June 2, 2025. However, users should note that if the app is deleted, all saved data will be lost, and not all devices may support the game due to varying performance specifications.
