Starting November 5, Apple will offer Form’s Smart Swim 2 goggles in 20 of its retail locations across the US and Canada, with the $249 wearable also available for online purchase through Apple’s website in the US, Canada, and UK. This addition marks Apple’s continued expansion into fitness tech, and customers can look forward to both in-store pickup and home delivery options.
The goggles are designed to appeal to swimmers and fitness enthusiasts seeking innovative tracking tech for their workouts, and Apple’s inclusion of Form’s latest goggles aligns with its emphasis on advanced health and wellness accessories.
Form’s founder and CEO, Dan Eisenhardt, expressed excitement about the partnership, emphasizing Apple’s knowledgeable staff as a perfect fit for presenting the goggles. Form’s collaboration with Apple highlights the tech giant’s ongoing strategy of curating unique, high-quality fitness tech products for its stores, making cutting-edge gear more accessible to the general public.
Eisenhardt also sees this partnership as an opportunity to expand Form’s presence and reach within the fitness and tech communities, leveraging Apple’s extensive customer base and trusted brand.
The Smart Swim 2 goggles build on the foundation laid by the original Form goggles, introducing a heart rate sensor, and improving both comfort and fit for swimmers. Additionally, the new model has a smaller “tech pack,” the component housing the electronics, making the goggles more streamlined and user-friendly.
This second-generation product showcases Form’s commitment to continually refining its products, aiming to provide swimmers with enhanced monitoring and performance-tracking tools, whether in the pool or open water.
Form continues to sell its original Smart Swim goggles for $179, which offer a unique SwimStraight feature displaying a digital compass to help with open water navigation. While the original model remains available directly from Form’s website, the Smart Swim 2 offers the latest features and improved design, positioning it as a premium choice in smart swim gear.
This partnership with Apple represents a significant step for Form in reaching a broader audience and underscores the appeal of high-quality, purpose-driven wearable tech in mainstream retail environments.
