Accenture and Nvidia have expanded their partnership with a new Nvidia business group within Accenture, aimed at accelerating AI adoption across industries. This new group will utilize Accenture’s AI Refinery platform, which is built on Nvidia’s AI technologies such as AI Foundry, AI Enterprise, and Omniverse.
The group’s focus is to help clients implement agentic AI, systems capable of autonomously performing tasks and making decisions, providing a more business-focused way to integrate generative AI into enterprise operations without the need for human intervention.
Lan Guan, Accenture’s Chief AI Officer, highlighted that despite growing interest in generative AI, many companies are still struggling to see its full potential. While generative AI contributed $3 billion in bookings for Accenture in the previous fiscal year, only about 10% of companies have successfully scaled AI across their operations.
Guan pointed to obstacles like high costs, technical complexity, data readiness, and a lack of skilled talent as major challenges companies face. The new Nvidia business group is designed to help clients navigate these challenges and maximize the benefits of AI technologies.
Accenture emphasized that agentic AI marks a significant step forward in AI’s evolution, shifting from simple task automation to more autonomous, decision-making systems. Unlike traditional generative AI, which often requires prompts, agentic AI can independently take actions aligned with business goals.
This shift allows businesses to move beyond using AI for basic tasks and harness it for more complex, self-sufficient processes that drive efficiency and innovation in operations.
As part of the initiative, Accenture will train over 30,000 AI practitioners in Nvidia technologies to help businesses implement and scale AI solutions. Additionally, Accenture will introduce a new Nvidia NIM Agent Blueprint for virtual facility robot fleet simulation, which will integrate Nvidia’s Omniverse, Isaac, and Metropolis software.
This blueprint is intended to assist industries, such as manufacturing, in automating operations and reducing design times by up to 50% and cycle times by 30%. Accenture plans to use these capabilities at Eclipse Automation, a manufacturing automation company it owns.
The AI Refinery platform will also be integrated into Accenture’s own marketing processes, automating campaign management and reducing manual steps by 35%, while speeding up time-to-market by 55% and cutting costs by 6%.
Furthermore, Accenture is setting up AI Refinery Engineering Hubs in Singapore, Tokyo, Malaga, and London, all of which will focus on developing and scaling agentic AI systems. These hubs are part of Accenture’s broader strategy to provide deep technical capabilities and support the growing demand for advanced AI solutions.
