The Garmin Fenix 8 smartwatch has recently appeared in listings from a French retailer, revealing two upcoming models: a 47mm and a 51mm version. These listings suggest that the Fenix 8 series will be launching soon, with new details on pricing and features emerging. The information hints at several key characteristics of these wearables.
The French retailer Worden has set the prices for the Fenix 8 models at €1,099.99 for the 47mm version and €1,199.99 for the 51mm version. This pricing is notably higher than what was previously reported by Finnish retailer Multitronic, which had suggested prices of €995.90 and €1,095.90 for the same models. Multitronic’s listings also included a 43mm variant priced similarly to the 47mm model and a lower-priced Fenix E model at €797.90.
The price difference between the Fenix 8 and the Fenix E models implies potential variations in features, with speculation that the Fenix E might come with a MIP display. However, this has yet to be confirmed. The higher-priced Fenix 8 models are expected to offer advanced features, aligning with their premium pricing.
Additional details from the Worden listings indicate that the Fenix 8 watches will feature a Sapphire Glass lens, GPS positioning, and heart health tracking. There are rumors that Garmin plans to release these new smartwatches before the IFA Berlin event on September 6th. This follows a series of recent leaks, including a UK Declaration of Conformity and various images of the upcoming Fenix series wearables.
