Honor is preparing to introduce its latest foldable smartphones, debuting the budget-friendly Honor Magic Vs3 alongside leaks detailing the upcoming flagship, the Honor Magic V3. Renowned for its ultra-thin devices, Honor gained acclaim with the 9.9mm slim Honor Magic V2, which continues to hold a record in its category more than a year after its launch.
The upcoming Honor Magic V3 aims to surpass this record, although specific details are yet to be officially disclosed. Alongside this flagship, Honor quietly introduced the Honor Magic Vs3, positioned as a more affordable alternative.
Available for pre-order on Honor’s Chinese website, the Vs3 showcases a design featuring a wide outer display and a prominent camera module, speculated to include a periscope telephoto lens. Color options include black, white, and green, with storage configurations ranging up to 1TB.
While detailed specifications of the Magic Vs3 remain unclear, it’s anticipated to follow a trend seen with its predecessors, possibly featuring downgraded components compared to higher-end models like the Magic V3.
According to reports from GizmoChina, the Honor Magic V3 is expected to measure 9.7mm thick, slightly thinner than its predecessor but not as slim as initially teased. The device continues Honor’s pursuit of thinner form factors in the foldable segment, a notable achievement given the engineering challenges involved.
The Magic V3 is expected to have a rounded camera module like the Magic 6 Pro, which makes it look better. Honor will reveal these new foldable phones in China on July 12 and plans to sell them internationally later in the year to compete in the foldable smartphone market.
