On Sunday, Twitter co-founder Jack Dorsey officially endorsed Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. for president, asserting that Kennedy is the best Democratic candidate with a real chance of defeating Republican contenders Ron DeSantis and Donald Trump.

Dorsey’s endorsement was announced via a Twitter post, where he shared a clip from Fox News featuring Harris Faulkner interviewing Kennedy, titled: “Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. argues he can beat Trump and DeSantis in 2024.” Dorsey commented, “He can and will.”

When asked by a Twitter user if he was endorsing Kennedy or merely making a prediction, Dorsey replied, “Both.”

Another user suggested that the Democratic National Committee (DNC) would never allow Kennedy to become the Democratic nominee. Dorsey responded, “True but they seem to be more irrelevant by the day.”

Kennedy, an environmental lawyer and prominent vaccine critic from one of the nation’s most well-known political families, began actively campaigning this week after announcing his candidacy for the Democratic presidential nomination in April.

According to the latest poll, Kennedy has garnered 16% support in the 2024 Democratic presidential race, with President Joe Biden leading at 62%.

Additionally, poll from last week showed Kennedy with 20% support compared to Biden’s 60%.

Both polls also indicated that Marianne Williamson, a best-selling author and spiritual adviser who is running for the Democratic nomination for the second time, has 8% support. These surveys suggest potential challenges for Biden as he seeks a second term in the White House.
