After opening two concept stores in Berlin, Milan, and Tokyo, the bath bomb giant, Lush Cosmetics has unveiled its latest concept store in Shinjuku, Japan. The store offers a whole new shopping experience featuring some noteworthy technological advancements.
For instance – Lush Labs app is the latest way to shop at Lush’s shoppable window. Users can simply scan the product to browse information at the store or in their home bathroom. The touch sensor lets users further inspect the product’s usage by playing video clips about how to use the product. This way, Lush is all set to reduce its impact on the environment by saving water and other resources, as their customers are able to test the products using technology. The app is available on iOS and Android in English, Korean, Japanese and simplified Chinese.
Their entire store is inspired by the modern, famously neon-lit area of the town of Shinjuku. The showroom’s interior and exterior design go perfectly well with the landscape. The Shinjuku store has been described as an experimental, imaginative retail space showcasing Lush’s innovation in technology, with exclusive product drops, and new ways to shop.”
Because it’s a multi-story building, they have plenty of space to play with. The store features its most popular products on the ground floor; with a dedicated space for experimenting with Lush products on the second floor to spark their customer’s imagination. Furthermore, they are soon about to open a unique spa facility on the top floor, making the Lush store different in every sense of the word.
